Veterinary Assistant (Part-Time)
Spay Neuter Clinic – Mesa, AZ

Seeking a Surgery Technician to fill an open part time position at a busy veterinary wellness clinic in Mesa. We will only contact and interview candidates who have at least one-year prior experience in a Veterinary or Medical clinic or hospital. Only candidates with Veterinary or Medical office experience will be considered for this position.
Work Monday through Friday days. No weekends, no emergencies.

  • Assist doctor with exams, vaccinations, and surgery monitoring
  • Care for animals post-op
  • Must be willing and able to safely restrain cats and dogs for exams and lift 30+ pounds
  • Knowledge of vaccine protocol and experience with blood draws and catheter placement is helpful.

 

Benefits include health & dental insurance for FT employees, paid vacation and holidays for all employees, sick pay as required by State law, CE reimbursement for registered techs, clinic sales bonuses possible. Hourly wage depends on experience with pay increase possible at the end of the probationary period.
